Sherrod Brown for Senate
During my role as Deputy Digital Director for Senator Sherrod Brown’s reelection campaign, I was responsible for and highly trusted with curating the Senator’s social media pages — starting from the ground up. Whether I was staffing events or digital recording time with Senator Brown, connecting with and facilitating recordings with local elected officials, labor unions, or constituency groups, producing and scripting digital fundraising videos, or locking in for hours to edit and produce video content, no two days on the job were the same.
Closing Videos
Below are the campaign’s two closing videos that I shot, edited, and produced. These were two of the last pieces of digital content that we posted to the Senator’s social pages before the polls opened on November 5. While I was writing the scripts, I wanted to clearly show the contrast between he and his opponent, and highlight the Senator’s record of fighting for Ohioans. The videos received a combined reach of nearly 2M views, and one features a voiceover from musician John Legend and actress Yvette Nicole Brown.
